-While on the pickup coil tab, complete the following:
A. Play with the simulation until you can tell me what you have to do to make the lightbulb come on.
B. Describe what you see happening when the lightbulb is on.
-Next, click on the "GENERATOR" tab and answer the following questions using that simulation.
1. What happens when you turn on the water?
2. What do the electrons in the coil of wire do when the waterwheel is spinning? Why do you think they do that?
3. What happens as you change the amount of water flowing out? Why do you think that happens?
4. What effect does changing the strength of the magnet have on the lightbulb?
5. How does the number of coils of wire affect what the lightbulb does?
